We are living in a very uncertain and destabilized world where moral values and noble virtues are disappearing fast... On one hand we come across growing numbers of incidents of violence in general and crimes against women in particular, on the other hand we happen to witness the rapid degradation of moral values and honesty even among the educated and the so called 'creamy' layer of the society. In the race to Success and financial security we have forgotten about our true goals and the very meaning of being human. While many intellectuals believe that serving the greed of Multinationals and some powerful individuals is the real goal and purpose in life thereby fulfilling & nurturing their own greed, we are unwittingly pushed towards a Godless and morally depraved society thereby making ourselves indirectly responsible for the social evils and violence that threaten our existence. We have thus made ourselves part of the very problem that we ourselves lament about everyday, rather than being part of the solution. It is not a sin to lead a decent living by undertaking in some group / collaborative / corporate enterprise. But it is not the same when we forget or refuse to draw the line when it comes to a point where we are forced to stop being human, to undo those very qualities and cultural & spiritual evolution that we have accrued or been inculcated with by a civilization that has survived thousands of years and even regular periods of foreign domination / subjugation .
Think about it ... The only civilization / way of life / system of beliefs that has survived the longest period of time in the history of the world is ours..
And to undo the wisdom and spiritual evolution gained over this continuous stream of generations for the sake of such temporal and mundane objects of today's materialistic society...... Pls think about it. So much for Globalization ......
An Atheist is not somebody who merely doesn't believe in God but it is someone who has also lost hope in himself and has stopped believing in the inherent divine nature that resides within himself and others too.
